DVD Installer Hangs in Windows 10

I've followed the directions to create a DVD of Klingon Academy. When installing it copies files fine but then hangs at "Registering Fonts..." Anyone know how to get past this?

While I'm at it, can the 1.02r5 patch be used on Klingon Academy if installed from the DVD?

1.02r5 is for use on KA installed from the original Interplay CD media.

The old DVD kit is not suitable for use on Windows 7/8/10, I've got a new DVD kit in the works but I've been busier than expected. I hate putting dates on things because I usually miss them....
