Lol it's been forever since I've been here. Can't remember what name I used back in the day's but I was a freshman in high school when KA came out back in 2000. Stumbled on here and see a lot of people still on. Does anyone play Star Trek Online at all? If so if anyone needs a fleet to join I got a KDF fleet. I'll be more than willing to name it the KAAF on there.

I played a little STO, got pretty bored. Game was all fluff to me.

I've been thinking of giving Elite a shot. Got a friend that let me use his Star Citizen login and it just had too much going on. ED seems more focused and smaller scale maybe.

I play Star Trek Online, but it certainly isn't Klingon Academy.
And I only play it because there isn't any new Trek content worth a damn anywhere else - sure as shit not in JJDrek stuff.
We need KA fighting within STO.
But you can see the similarity between the ground missions and the space missions in STO.
They HAVE to make it an item based game, otherwise, they don't make $$$.

I think quality great games like KA has seen its heyday. It doesn't make the same $ that an item based game will; and we know from JJDrek that studios care ONLY about $, not authenticity. The battle is so simplified and 2D in STO, it's for young kids.

Well, for what its worth, the co-op FPS game where you play as Kirk and Spock was pretty fun to play. It wasn't a space game obviously, but still fun.

There aren't many strictly PvP space games out now.
