Thanks DR but I would prefer some more constructive advices. Maybe some emulator or something like that? I have DOSBox but it is only for older Star Trek games like A Final Unity. Star Trek: Klingon works on Windows 3.1 and 9x and pure DOS emulator does not help.

well a logical way would be to have a dual boot with XP and 98 SE

but have you tried the compatability modes?

I'm sure he has. I mean, the compatibilty modes really have no effect on DOS games anymore. But then, I never had problems with my DOS games until I installed Service Pack 2. He said he has Service Pack 1, so I don't know what his problem is.lol. I've pretty much just given up on all my DOS games.

compatybility mode is worthless. after all Klingon is not DOS game. dual boot never works without problems. I prefer to have only one operating system [xp] and when something do not work on it i look for emulator. as I said i got one for DOS games but I cannot find emulator for windows 3.1 or 9x

Get VMware or Virtual PC and install 3.1/95/98 in it.

I know it's a little late but after reading this thread I tried Klingon myself and get a general protection fault. (I'm also running XP pro with all the updates installed plus SP2) Borg works fine though. Damn, I actually liked Klingon better.

Microsoft made VPC free, so you can get it and install 98 or other does based windows version and it might work for you.
