This is a post for ppl to tell stories of particular ship, how they were contructed or about what happened to them or what they can do. Eg you could come up wih a story for a kitbash ship or a ship you like.

Here is the histery of the T.D.F (Terran Defence Forces)Emporer froma game called Starsiege.

.This is a guide to the T.D.F Emperor and some facts about it and it’s lifetime as well as some mentions of T.D.F technologies and ships. The T.D.F Emperor’s constructive history has been a colourful and frightening one (Well to the planets at least). The ship was originally designated to take at least 125 years to complete but after the Alliance between the Empire and the Martian rebels to fight the Cybrid invasion it was reduced to less than a year. The introduction of the advanced alien nanites and alien technology revolutionised construction speeds and processes. The ship’s primary hull (It has two separate hulls. An Inner 15 metre thick layer of depleted uranium carapace or durac, the second out side layer is comprised completely of quick silver nanite armour measuring at 500 metres thick.) took up most of the year. It was being built in an early type of a time space continuum bubble (The technology was later developed in a method of faster than light travel allowing a ship to tear a hole in the fabric of the time space continuum and enter dimensional limbo, it was then possible to exit to any location in the Universe. It was also recorded that during a T.S.C jump to a critical hot zone the ship entered in dimensional limbo. After entering the black void a black hole like phenomenon sucked the ship into an alternate reality. If it had happened to an older T.D.F starship it would have most likely been destroyed but being designed to take such hull stresses it arrived relatively intact. Due to reasons known only to the crew the account was never reported. They put down the period as a necessary “Silent Running” mode after supposedly encountering a highly advanced Cybrid starship that had escaped the “The Chase” (The time period spent by humanity chasing the remaining Cybrid forces and destroying them.). They destroyed it but took extensive damage, due to the range of heavily damaged systems they said that they had go into the “Silent Running” mode in order to avoid detection by other Cybrid ships until it was in a good enough condition to destroy the rest of the Cybrid fleet. The last remaining crewmember told high ranking Imperial officers about the lie but died before he would have been forced to tell exactly what happened and what technologies he had seen in the alternate Universe. This technology was then abandoned due to the discovery of a Jump Gate at the edge of the Sol system. These gates were later discovered to be a network of gates. A few years later Terran explorers found Meta-Jump Gates, these were far more powerful and sophisticated that the previous jump gates and transported ships from Galaxy to Galaxy. These gates were also created by the same race that dropped there super advanced technologies on Mars and Pluto. The reason why the time space continuum drive was discontinued was because of the huge power requirements, Terran sensor technology’s inability to scan any objects smaller than the sun in the Sol system in dimensional limbo and the destructive effects of entering real space (The effect was a series of ultra-powerful electrostatic charges emanating from entrance the vortex’s event horizon. To date (2840 A.D) no scientist has been able to prevent these occurrences, although not used except by the Emperor, military scientists still tried to use this technology to transport huge alien upgraded missiles capable of destroying entiring systems. By the year 2969 scientists found that elongated use of these caused disruptions of the time space continuum making some sectors of space impassable. The disruptions caused entrance vortexes that were several times the size of the Sol sun that could wipe out half a star system. On the first trial of the drive a planet in an unknown system twice the size of Jupiter was fragmented into rocks the size of Australia, and this was by the only Heavy Dreadnought ship to be totally stripped of all weapons leaving only shielding and engines as well as a sensor suite that took up most of the twenty mile long ship(Near the end of the fourth millennium the system was found seventeen Galaxies from the extreme edge of the right side of the Universe. By this time the Empire had colonised several thousand Galaxies using mass cloning and the human population was somewhere beyond 92.5 trillion per Galaxy. Each Galaxy also hosted at least two million Heavy Dreadnoughts, 14 million Heavy Cruisers and 3 billion Heavy Carriers. Many civilisations were meet and so were many enemies but those fell under the extreme wall of pure amour that was the Imperial Navy.). Against the advice of his personnel advisors and friends Caanon fitted the Emperor with one anyway, it had to have the very best of all Terran technologies.)) After the third Cybrid invasion was stopped by the Alliance It was taken out and the shield Generator was fitted. The ship, for safety’s sake against remnants of the Cybrid fleet which plagued hundreds of ships for nearly fifteen years(Cybrid cloaking technology was more advanced for there ships and enabled them to deal quick hit and run attacks using there superior speed advantage over the sluggish heavily armoured Terran ships.) before being destroyed, was moved deep into the sun’s corona and it was finished. In several different occasions the entiring construction fleet and personnel (250 construction ships, 4 billion people.), because of hazardous solar flares were evacuated . Direct contact was kept although the solar flare caused high levels of interference with the communication link it was still a decent level of a link with the ship during these and thanks to what the alien technology upgrades did the standard shield generators the solar flares barely brought the shield grids (The ship is protected by six different shield generators which protect the different sides of it.) below 90%. Another capability of the shield reactors is the ability to send out a huge spherical electromagnetic pulse capable of knocking out all kinds of electronic equipment. The effect lasts approximately twelve minutes. This, though, has a downside, when used the shield reserve is used up and the shields require at least ten minutes to fully recharge. At this point the only protection from enemy fire would be armour. When the ship was finished it measured at a staggering 80 miles in length. It was 38 miles wide and from the lowest section to the tallest part (the command tower) it measures 39 miles. All T.D.F (Terran Defence Forces) ships are the same shape, this may seem like a tactical disadvantage but the design is sturdy and it is virtually impossible to tell the difference form the smaller T.D.F vessels. The only two other types of T.D.F space capable vessels that are not designed the same as the capitol ships are the Banshee close range fighter (this fighter can support many different weapons making it a versatile fighter) and a Herc Drop Ship. Although the Emperor is not a carrier it does have special launch bays for the Drop Ships. To take on fighters and other small ships it uses special defence pods. These pods are a seven metre sphere with newly created micro-pulse tractor beams. These lock onto the target and start sending micro pulses on the molecular level to weaken the target’s armour making them incredibly brittle, this also causes energy surges in shield generators damaging them. This effects objects sticking out from the target to a greater degree like weapon turrets. Multiple hits can literally shake a target to space dust. One of the main super computers on the Emperor allows for 1 billion of these pods to be functioning at any given time. The ship also posses the ability to manufacture these pods. The primary weapons system comprise of two Hyper Matter cannons. These take up all forty by twelve miles of the eighty by 12.5 mile long side pods. (In the smaller ships these are where the fighters and drop ships are kept. The dark red beam’s diameter is ten miles and has a range of 350 million kilometres. The cannons can be fired in two ways. The first “The Long Haul” method involves a ten minute beam. The Second is called the “The Standard Shot” this allows short twelve second bursts every with a five second delay between shots. The weapon uses a gigantic matter/anti-matter power reactor. Powerful magnetic and gravitational fields are used to contain the matter/anti-matter explosion and direct it at the target ship. This allows the beams to come in a wide array of different shapes, but the wider the beam the more widespread the damage but it would not be as powerful as a thin beam. On the weapons first use it outperformed the scientists expectations to such a degree that they retested the weapon several times. It was found that ionised dark matter particles were in the path of the beams acting as a destructive catalyst. A little bit of research later the scientists discovered that adding positively and negatively charged ionised dark matter particles could increase the beams to unimaginable destructive capabilities. They were also responsible for turning the beam into dark red instead of a bright yellow. The capabilities was discovered when two beams were fired at a Cybrid controlled moon orbiting Titan which was still resisting with powerful Rad guns that had such an output that no ship’s crew could hope to survive. (The Rad is a powerful Cybrid energy weapon that involves the compacting of some unknown form of radiation that can penetrate shields and armour and destabilise the DNA of any living creature This is also why the T.D.F scientists did not research bio-armour, they could do it, it might have taken a few years but the Rad gun was too much of a risk to life to use it. The only defence against Rad weapons was durac armour (because of it’s super dense composition) and advanced radiation protection shielding systems but they are incredibly expensive and can take years to add them to the thousands of miles of the ventilation shafts that run along the ship to produce.) The Rad guns were so powerful that no ship could attempt to get close enough. It was considered destroying the moon but it was a richly resourced world and too valuable to risk. Most of the moon’s most valuable resources were located under the crust so destroying the huge matter/anti-matter power reactors would cause the planet’s crust to go up in a quick, short fireball using special chemicals that would fired and dropped onto the planet by long range missiles with out the large explosive warhead. The beams pierced the crust and penetrated all the way to the moon’s core and ignited it causing the moon to explode. This caused both annoyance over the loss of a valuable moon and satisfaction at the weapon’s destructive capabilities. When these weapons are not in use they serve as secondary power reactors. It’s secondary weapons system is a Resonance Cascade Cannon. This simply dissolved the links between atoms. Io was dispersed into a huge cloud of space dust by this weapon after the target ship was dissolved (Due to the huge level of the power output it didn’t stop at the target ship). It’s tertiary weapon was a much larger version of the defence pods micro pulse tractor weapons. It flattened every mountain, crater, hill and building on Triton, due to the increased power out off the Emperor it is capable of emitting the micro pulses on the seismic level. It’s final weapon and by far the most powerful weapon ever used has only used once. It’s fourth weapon system is a group of six Anti-Planetary Nuclear missiles. These missiles are the same size of a 21th century nuclear missile. To ensure that all traces of the Cybrid leader Prometheus was destroyed the new Emperor Caanon Weathers commissioned the use of only one of the six to have ever been made. The missile was launched from the T.D.F Emperor in orbit around Saturn (Normal T.D.F Anti-Planetary Nuclear Missiles can only take out a small Earth Moon sized planet or large moon of medium density. These Anti-Planetary Nuclear Missiles were enhanced with the alien Technology found in subterranean bunkers deep in Mar’s crust, testing the bunkers revealed that they were placed into Mars when the planet was still actually forming. The missile hit Pluto and destroyed it as planned but the explosive sphere disintegrated all of Uranus and 76% of Neptune. The Emperor’s armour consists of an inner layer of 15 metres of durac armour which gives it radiation protection and an outer layer of quick silver nanite armour. The countless billion nanites have a small battery which is charged every few minutes by an energy burst from the Emperor’s power reactors. The more power being feed into the armour the more nanites can be supported. When the armour at 100% power output it is 500 metres thick and is capable of being risen up to 200% which thickens the armour to a kilometre in length. Raising the armour to 200% is only done in an emergency like if the shield generators or there back ups fail or destroyed by some unknown force. Overall the nanite armour can repair 125 square metres per minute. The shields aren’t static energy bubbles like previous shield grids these newer shields are solid. This means for the Herc Drop Ships to pass safely through the shields they use a specially created emp generator device that requires the four onboard matter/anti-matter power reactors (The Drop ships used to need only one before the new shield grids came into use.). This is also why the Emperor does not utilise fighters. Smaller carriers have to power down one of shield generators to let the fighters out. For movement the ship uses three separate technologies. A standard Ion Drive, at the end of each pod is a cluster of four Mega-class Ion Drives, these are just under three miles in diameter. On the end of the central pod there are two clusters of 6 Super-class Ion Drives. (These are ‘big ones’ that are used on the side pods of the smaller ship.) The second technology is a simple magnetic field which can increase the speed and turning abilities of the Emperor by 15%,this is a secondary effect of the magnetic fields generated by the artificial gravity generators. The third technology is more specifically for movement. Eight separate Gravitational generators positioned at the main corners of the central pod. This increases the performance by 50%. The ship with all of these systems active can propel the ship at a maximum speed of 1450 kilometres per second and has a turn rate of four miles per second. Due to the size of the Emperor they do not use Ion boosters so it cannot reach 0.75% lightspeed like the smaller T.D.F vessels. The Emperor uses two 750 million exowatts(These reactors are separate from the Hyper Matter Cannon’s own reactors which power themselves) matter/anti-matter reactors (one positioned in each side pod) and one main 20 billion exowatt power reactor. Each shield grid can out put a maximum of 18,000,000,000 terajoules per second. The output of the Hyper Matter Cannons is 450 million exowatts. The Resonance Cascade cannon has an output of 500 million exowatts. The Micro Pulse Tractor weapon uses 1 billion exowatts at the maximum setting. 80% of the remaining 2 billion exowatts of power is used to run internal lighting, sensors, fusion turret defence systems, forcefields, artificial gravity interior, exterior repair nanites the quick silver nanite armour and engines with the other twenty percent as a back up in case some thing happens to the side pods. If the middle section of the ship is destroyed then whole ship is destroyed. The primary shield generators are located on the starboard pod and the auxiliary generators are located on the port side. Crew quarters are located at the bottom of the command tower. Recreation levels are located above the command bridge which is three levels in height. The lowest level contains the security, science, personnel and weapons officers, 50 personnel in all, damage and medical is in the second level and the top third level the captain and his personnel guard are located. The Emperor’s internal defences systems include series of forcefeild generators every four metres. At the centre of each forcefield spacing is a pair of shielded mini-fusion turrets, these use motion sensors to identify and calculate target movement paths, there is also a small transmitter that sends out small energy pulse signals to a special device surgically implanted in the back of the neck of military personnel. The device signals the turret letting it know not to shoot. If you do not posses one of these tags then it will shot at you. Civilians who are not implanted with the devices are instructed to wear special “Guest” armbands which they are not allowed take off in any area of the ship because there are defence turrets in every room. It’s final defence system comprises of nanites these simply devour an intruder and use the parts to make more security nanites, these nanites can be fooled by a sensor jammer pack or a moderate electromagnetic field generator, on every T.D.F ship you’ll find nanites on every surface and on every person. These nanites perform scans on consoles, turrets, doors etc and transmits the reading to the main security super computer. The security computer then informs if need be the other computers like medical alert computers or damage control computers which in turn alert there operators of a medical emergency or to ship damage. Repair nanites are then sent to repair the ship or a message is also sent to the closest sickbay bay where a person who might have a sickness or something else is given instructions on how to find it. The ship also hosts one million security marines who use a miniature herc like armour that’s in it’s last stages of testing. These are being tested and upgraded with limited flight packs for colonisation on alien worlds. Until then it is used by security forces. It is capable of carrying four weapons. A plascannon (short for plasma cannon) (A smaller version of the types used by fighters and the smaller capitol ships), a mini-gun which fires specially designed durac bullets at hypersonic velocities, the Crader Dudek 62MM grenade launcher and a new blaster pistol in the works which is designed with the same principals as the herc based blaster cannons. The latest armour models carry there own micro-fusion generators (There isn’t enough room for matter/anti-matter generators, except for Shadow operative suits. (Black Ops like group, uses cutting edge tech that is nearly two hundred and fifty years ahead of standard military technology and specifications)). With the suit’s own ability to generate power it uses miniature hydraulic pumps to help the suit move with the user through neural links, this amplifies the user’s strength, speed and it can be operated with only the neural links so invalids can find employment as security personnel. The suit can also use one of four different types of pack, shield pack, repair pack, sensor jammer pack and ammo pack. To protect the operating computers from tampering or use by an unregistered person they are fitted with a 15000 watt capacitor, every time you press a button your DNA is recorded and if it isn’t an authorised match for the level of security needed to operate that console then you will be given a warning and five seconds to take your hand from the console before it uses the capacitor. The only exception to this is if the person is under 16 years of age which the computer will be able to tell from the DNA sample. Instead the capacitor will only release 5 watts. For someone older than 16 death is immediate. There is also a retinal scanner, finger print scanner and voice analyser which must be passed before access to console can be granted. On every ship, in the case of an emergency power down of the shields or power reactors and there is a need to then start them up quickly the ship comes with an energy capacitor and a shield capacitor, using them is a risky attempt as a single malfunction can cause either the reactors or the shield generators to explode resulting in the ship’s destruction. The only rule about these is that they must never, never be used at the same time, you must allow at least five minutes before you start off the second capacitor, usually the Ecap (Energy Capacitor) is used before the Scap (Shield Capacitor). The ship contains one large hydroponics bay and two smaller ones on the side pods, these coupled with C02 scrubbers keep the oxygen at a 50% oxygen, 5% nitrogen, 13% other gases and 32% C02. There are twenty levels that take up most of the rest of the command tower between the living quarters and Command Levels which is reserved for Herc Pilot testing, each level contains a different planetary environment. Training for at least twenty hours a week is a mandatory requirement for Herc pilots. To travel from one end of the ship to the other there are small shuttle cars which are propelled at mach 2 using a magnetic rail (Like a rail gun.). To enter one all you have to do is place your hand on a wall, your DNA is recorded and analysed, this is also another intruder deterrent, the car will arrive at your direct position and nanites on the wall will take apart the wall allowing you to enter, after you enter you will be required to either perform an eye, DNA or finger print test and after you pass you can tell the car where you want to go. These cars possess internal and external sensors to identify any bombs or weapons that might not be registered to the user of the car. These can also help detect bombs along the tubes which run along every hallway and room. If a person is found with an illegal weapon or bomb the shuttle car will immediately depressurise creating a vacuum which will cause the user to explode, nanites will quickly clean the car before it will be used again. Needless to say security is very important. In the case of an attack from hostile capitol ships it will use it’s heavier weapon systems but in the case of attacking fighters that would be two small to hit the Emperor uses it’s defence pods. The pods, using a powerful gravitational field can achieve 6500 kilometres per second. They do not need to turn as the tractor emitters are located at the north and south poles of the sphere and four are placed along the equator of the sphere. Only two micro-pulse tractor beams can be activated at a time while the pod is maintaining 6500 KPS, with all six activated it can maintain a steady speed of 1800 KPS. The beams last for ten seconds and it takes four seconds for them to recharge. The pod use a Minor-class matter/anti-matter power reactor with a life range of twenty days. These pods can usually out-manoeuvre just about every known fighter with no problems, they also carry four Fast Charge Shield Generators and one Medusa class super heavy shield generator, the Fast Charge shield generators are there as back ups. These shields are the same as those used on Hercs. These pods can be manufactured from a small factory located at the front part of he centre pod of the Emperor. It takes about thirty minutes to construct one. Ramming is something the Emperor was designed to take. In fact the quick silver nanite armour which has a secondary programming code which tells it if a ship is attempting to ram it will reach out and grab the ship, the armour is capable of forming a variety of shapes to grab ramming ships or even asteroids which can be used to make more nanites or stored for later use. Still though at one hundred percent the nanite’s maximum range is still only one hundred and twenty five metres, the same as if it was receiving two hundred percent power. There are one million security personnel onboard the Emperor and 9 million crew personnel, although this is the recommended level of crew it is possible to run the ship on at a bare minimum of 3 million. If a system like the central super computer becomes damaged from under an advanced alien weapon (E.G Blink gun, a Cybrid plasma/emp based weapon that could penetrate shields and armour and directly damage internal systems like shield generators, computers (Every computer has it’s own back up fusion reactors in the case of a brownout from an energy overload from a weapon and power reactors etc.) The Emperor is capable of launching up to 75 Herc Drop ships each one capable of carrying six small hercs, four medium hercs and three heavy Hercs. The Herc drop ship is a testament to Imperial design. After being launched from the launching starship they move into a synchronised orbit with the planet, after getting into position they use a small nudge from there rocket boosters to enter orbit. Straight down. The drop ship does not use any braking systems to slow it’s decent. It simply freefalls from orbit and lands on the ground, it releases it’s pod, then rockets back up into orbit, it repeats the procedure to pick up the box roughly ten minutes later. The ventral sections of the drop ship’s pod (The only part that touches the ground) is heavily armoured, compacted (Fourteen metres of durac compressed into 0.4 inches using powerful anatomical compression machines and nanites)and the ventral section is twenty inches thick. Due to the three Cybrid attacks on humanity all nanites are fitted with an independent electrical capacitor, this is for a just in case measure, if any nanites malfunction or do not perform there given task in less than 35 nanoseconds then the capacitor will be used disintegrating the nanite, the capacitors are specially designed to output a single kilowatt to that nanite only and disintegrate it. Over the next three millenniums (From the Third millennium.) T.D.F ships have never been bettered for there armour, shielding or overwhelming level of firepower. Every four hundred years every ship is upgraded and even ships from the late twentieth century have survived and seen many thousands of crews grow old and replaced by younger generations in there heavily armoured and shielded hulls. During the ninth millennium they discovered the race that killed off the race now then believed to be named as the Masters and for seven thousand years both races fought in a war never before witnessed by another race. Three thousand Galaxies were reduced to nothing but space dust. The humans won through but the effect was near catastrophic. The human Empire, known throughout the Universe as one of the fiercest of all Empires wallowed back to there own Galaxy to try to rebuild there massive Empire. The Emperor never lost a fight in it’s life time with an innumerable count of kills. The ship was a match for two hundred of the Drenalti (the race that destroyed the Masters.) largest ships and was constantly deep in enemy lines wrecking incalculable damage only returning to human systems for it’s crew to be replaced or it’s system to be re-hauled and upgraded. The ship was finally destroyed when in a bid to finally end the Drenalti for all time and save as many lives as possible(After the T.D.F war machine pushed the Drenalti back to there home Galaxy) the ship used it’s T.S.C drive and entered the Drenalti home system. The ship activated another T.S.C vortex but began to overloaded it and with every power reactor and the T.S.C energy tap, (Another technology developed over the last few hundred years that allowed the Emperor to absorb the electrostatic bolts from the entrance vortex to use it as a power boost beyond measurement) the energy boost that was absorbed from the gigantic T.S.C event horizon was so large that (the effect could be seen as a large white dot appearing and disappearing on the other side of the Universe.) it sucked the entiring Drenalti Galaxy into Dimensional Limbo. The Drenalti was never heard or seen from again. It took the Empire seven more millenniums before they retook every Galaxy that they had lost.

Here's a set of three ships, you know maybe some of these ships could be done ingame?

The Ge’oth race is a very old race that claims ownership of every black hole in existence. They claim to be the oldest race in the entiring Universe. After seeing there ship’s designs and technology this wouldn’t be too hard to believe. There ships are constructed from a bright silvery materiel that cannot be picked up on any sensor. Comparing it strength wise to the lesser race’s armour it is quite easy to pierce and appears unimaginably soft for a such an advanced armour like it is. When a race called the Seth’Telion first encountered them in a starsystem they annexed they discovered a Ge’oth Cruiser orbiting a black hole, they only noticed it when somebody reported seeing a large glittering object near the black hole. The Seth’Telion battalion of fifteen Starshooter dreadnoughts headed towards the object to investigate. As they came into visual range they were startled to find that it was infact a ship. They were then hailed by the Ge’oth who welcomed them and informed them that they wished no conflict and they were welcome to all the planets in the starsystem bar the black hole. The Seth’Telion had never encountered the Ge’oth before and ordered them out of the system. The Ge’oth refused. All fifteen Starshooters opened fired hurling huge two mile wide miniature suns. About twenty minutes later the Ge’oth Cruiser looked unsalvageable. It was covered in huge holes and appeared to be only held together by thin pieces of it’s hull. Within fifteen seconds the armour began to repair it’s self and at the end of the fifteen seconds it looked like it was only built yesterday. The Cruiser rotated on it’s axis and showed the Seth’Telion a small black hole in the near hollow cylinder like hull. The eight gravity funnel emitters activated and in a single minutes the entiring battalion was destroyed. The next day after the Seth’Telion High Command sent out a second and third Battalion accompanied by a small fleet of rescue ships found a large ship waiting at the edge of the system awaiting them. The Ge’oth displayed the battle on a huge hologram in between it’s self and the Seth’Telion fleet. A second later and hundred of white flashes began to appear around the rescue ships, they were the escape pods from the first Battalion. The Ge’oth spoke with a deep gravity “The First Battalion of your ships fired upon our ship and we defended ourselves. We do not wish for a conflict with a lesser race. We do not seek bloodshed or to conquer anyone’s planets. All we want is to be left in peace guarding the Dark Gateways you call black holes. We spared the lives of the first Battalion as a sign of good will. Attack us again and we will be forced, until you offer your surrender, to destroy your race. The Seth’Telion took a little more time to consider the proposal and accepted.

Ge’oth fighter/Destroyer So’Neth class

The Ge’oth’s smallest ship is classed by many of the lesser races as a destroyer but it is infact to the Ge’oth a fighter. It is roughly eighteen miles in length and move at seventy thousand kilometres a second. It’s design defies logic. The back of the ship is a long concaving funnel like shape that narrows down till it get’s to a point and this is where it’s one and only turret is positioned. The ship’s diameter is roughly miles from the widest section at the very back to the front most diameter of the turret. The turret is a squat short cone. This turret has a semi-sphere firing arc which means it can keep to the side of a target ship and use it’s weapon. It’s weapon is very large gravity funnel emitter. It designed to take out ships form the sizes of light fighters to Frigates with relative ease. But it still is a deadly against larger ships. In the concaving back segment of the ship is a small black hole which it is speculated that the Ge’oth use as a power and movement generator. It’s hull is roughly twenty metres thick. The armour allows the Ge’oth ships incredible stealth abilities as it is undetectable and cannot be viewed on any form of electronic equipment and the only images of there ships are from drawings on pieces of paper.

Ge’oth Cruiser To’Lef class

The Ge’oth’s second largest ship is it’s Cruiser. This ship is more advanced than the Ge’oth So’Neth fighter. It is also larger. The smallest diameter is at the front of the ship which is completely flat. The diameter is roughly a hundred kilometres and this widens to one hundred and twenty kilometres over a length of fifty five kilometres. At this point the hull breaks up into eight petal like shapes with a large fourteen kilometre radius sphere. The eight spheres are gravity funnel emitters. All eight can be used at any given time and like the destroyer they do not need to recharge. The gravity funnels from this ship are large enough to real in ships as large twenty miles in a matter of seconds. The Ge’oth are also capable of altering the strength of the gravity well in the funnels and usually only use them at a fraction of full power to allow the lesser races a chance to reconsider there options. But this weapon has a weakness, gravitational type movement engines are capable of negating this effect, that is as long as there engines can output more power than the gravity funnel emitters can which is a rarity. The To’Lef class has also been observed orbiting black holes and being as close as only a few kilometres without any hull stress or temporal anomalies. The armour is thought responsible for there ability to remain to remain so close to black holes. Another effect of the black holes that they use for power is that when they move, turn or fight there ships rotate. This does not offer a tactical advantage or annoyance. The largest radius of the ship is form the bottom of lowest globe to the top of the uppermost globe is near one hundred and eight kilometres (With only visual means of measurement it is near impossible to give fully accurate hull measurements). The armour on this ship is roughly 70 metres thick. When the gravity funnel globes are online they glow brighter than the rest of the ship and when a target is sucked into the globe it is never heard from again. The globe apparently liquidises. The To’Lef can move at thirty five thousand kilometres per second.

Ge’oth Dreadnought Vu’Thel class

This is there most powerful and largest ship. It is sized at roughly eighteen the dimensions of the cruiser but what makes it different is the enlarged So’Nath hull that is attached to the back of the ship but in this case the Cruiser segment is the other way around. The black hole is not visible and it is speculated that it contains something a lot more powerful than a black hole inside it and that is why it is not shown like they are in the smaller ships. The gravity funnel from the enlarged So’Neth hull is capable of moving planets and also of devouring them. Sightings of these ships is rare and are only seen at the largest black holes. The most anyone has seen of these ships was when a recon fleet spotted a gigantic black hole that had several fleets in orbit around the black hole that had sucked up every planet in it’s home system. The recon fleet were kindly asked to leave the system for there own good and if they did not turn around they would be moved, forcibly.

The Downfall Of The USS Angelus.

We are having some troubles with the warpcore, it seems something is infecting it. We are heading for the nearest starbase, but we can't travel at warp because te risks are too high.
Traveling at full impuls, the ship suddenly drops dead, 'Main power off-line, re-rooting computer to back-up power'. Dammnit what happens. USS Angelus maybe an old ship but still is a very reliable one, and this never happened before. Hanging still the bridge-crew is more silent than ever. Suddenly I hear my Chief Engeneering say: 'Captain I think this problem will take my half an hour to solve.' I figured that I should inform the crew about what happened. 'Attention this is your captain speaking, the power will be off-line for at least half an hour. Please remain at your station and wait untill power is restored. Thank you.'

We waited and waited and suddenly the power was back up. But about half a minute after this my Chief Engineering asked my attention 'Captain, I don't know what happened just there. The power just restored itself.' This was the strangest thing the ship ever did to me. It blacked out for 30 minutes and then just came back up. This was going to be a very strange report.

1 week later we arrived at the Starbase, the crew still a bit confused about what happened. I reported at Starfleet and they told me not to take my ship out untill Starfleet engineers took care of it.
3 days later I got mail from Starfleet, my ship was confiscated, Starfleet couldn't let me fly anymore. It was a danger to my crew.

So this is how the USS Angelus came to it's end, it signed her own dead.

You mean mine? Yeah i coppied and pasted them, from microsoft word to the reply box. I am also currently working on writting a Sofan Class mini-Ion frigate, i got the idea from a game called Homeworld Cataclysm and the Seth'Talion Starshooter Destroyer and it's bigger brother the Sarshooter Dreadnought, both self created of. I'm also working on a piece of fiction involing some some of the ships mentioned and a first hand demonstration of the abilities of the T.D.F.

TachCon Tachyon Cruiser.

Armaments.

30 Forward firing Tachyon Pulse Turrets.

20 Aft firing Tachyon Pulse Turrets.

15 Port, Starboard, Ventral Dorsal firing Tachyon Pulse Turrets.

110 in all.

Tachyon Pulse Turrets.

Tachyon Pulse Turrets are a revelation in weaponry design when they were first used. Even thought that was near one hundred and fifty years ago it is still considered by many a very powerful weapon. The Tachyon Pulse Turret’s main ability to inflict damage comes from it’s projectile’s speed. The turret itself is a simple Energy Pulse Turret, nothing really that fancy, but by bombarding the Energy Pulse with enough tachyon particles to form a tachyon shell around the projectile makes the Energy Pulse move at faster than light(FTL) speeds. This is how the weapon can inflict such a high amount of damage with such a basic weapon as the base. Also the more tachyon particles used on the Energy Pulse the faster the projectile but the higher the requirement for the Tachyon Generators (See Power Reactors). A second side effect from using the tachyons to accelerate the Energy Pulse is that the Pulses will actually strike the target before the weapon has even fired(See Propulsion systems). Tachyon Pulse Turrets project a minimum of 280 exowatts to a maximum of 400 exowatts(For the full charge the Cruiser would require shields down and half of maximum sublight speeds so they are only used in this capacity for a quick Alpha Strike) The average output is 330 exowatts. Tachyon Turrets have a fire rate of 1 Pulse every 3 seconds.

The Cruiser’s secondary weapons system is made of the more powerful Tachyon Beam turrets.

8 Forward firing Tachyon Beam Turrets.

6 Aft firing Tachyon Beam Turrets.

2 Port, Starboard, Ventral, Dorsal firing Tachyon Beam Turrets.

22 in all.

Tachyon Beam Turrets.

Like the name suggests these turrets fire Beams instead of Pulses. The beams last approximately 5 to 7 seconds and functions mainly like the Tachyon Pulse turrets. Tachyon Beam Turrets project a minimum output of 800 exowatts to a maximum of 1200 exowatts per second. To have all of these firing would require the same power structuring as the Tachyon Pulse Turrets for a quick Alpha Strike. If life support for a few decks(temporarily, shields and all sublight drives were shut off it would be possible to fire up to 90% of the Tachyon Pulse Turrets in conjunction with the Tachyon Beam Turrets at full power. The average output weapons is 1050 exowatts per second.

Shields.

The Tachyon Cruiser does utilise shields but they are below average only outputting a maximum of 20,000 exowatts. (See Armour Composition).

Power Reactors.

The ingenious designers of this vessel received numerous rewards for the use of simple low tech equipment with highly sophisticated equipment. The Tachyon Generator uses an easily repairable means to generate power. As Tachyons move far faster than light a pulse of Pure Tachyon particles with their momentum are used to push a Tachyon Collector wheel which will power a reactor. It’s like using a wooden wheel in a stream to mill wheat like they did during the times of the ‘Wild West’ days of America. Coupled with a few auxiliary Fusion and Matter-Antimatter reactors for life support and other un-tachyon related functions of the Cruiser. This is still the only generator capable of powering the Tachyon based systems used by TachCon so if you were to destroy it’s Tachyon Generator it would lose all of it’s movement capabilities and it’s weapons would be reduced to their simple Energy Pulse and Beam statuses. Because of this the Tachyon Generator has it’s own sensor masking field and shield generator, both having three auxiliary back up reactors to ensure that it remains hard to virtually impossible to detect or destroy.

Armour Composition.

Another ingenious work of art and science that forced this ship design to become the unquestionable winner of the Design of the Year award when the prototype was unveiled. The armour uses a very old and low tech technology. Solar Energy Collectors. Although this would sound strange to many ship designers it’s simplicity was beyond reproach. Using the idea of the Solar energy Collectors cobbled together with the most advanced energy absorption materials to date the ship can more than easily absorb just about every form of energy from plasma to laser to Tachyons to even Fusion and Matter-Antimatter energy. The energy is then stored in capacitors where it will automatically be used to ensure that a percentage of weaponry can strike back at their maximum power settings depending on the output of the enemy weapon. This thought has a drawback, the collectors can only handle a certain amount of energy at a time so the use of extremely high output weaponry can overcome the armour and destroy it, continuous strikes will also have the same effect but the strikes would need to be unrelenting. Although limited a measure was taken to ensure that the smallest amount of armour would get destroyed if it was overloaded. The armour is placed onto the ship in long strips from port to starboard, there is a break that runs along the side of the ship separating the dorsal and ventral strips. Underneath this is a standard level 20 compacted Depleted Uranium Carapace(Although Depleted Uranium Carapace or Durac is one of the oldest none armour composites it can be compacted to toughen itself. Right now it can only be compacted to level 57 which is strong enough to last around a year well inside the corona of a star and offers the highest possible radiation protection but the costs of having it compacted to level 57 seriously outweighs the benefits. The secondary layer of Durac is 60 metres thick which is quite average for middleweight sized corporation such as TachCon. Since all TachCon vessels use this type of armour they are usually referred to as ‘Shiners’ as the light from just about anything can be seen in the armour making it a mirror of sorts.

Propulsions Systems.

Using a combination of a Solar Sail drive(a technology that emits an energy field which will repel solar energy away from itself moving the ship in the direction required like pushing a magnet away from another by using the same pole) and the Cruiser’s already tried and tested FTL Tachyon Drive. The Tachyon Sail only grabs a few Tachyons, just enough for it to be pulled forward and then released without going to FTL speeds, this allows the ship to bank from side to side with unimaginable speed. The Tachyon Sail can also be fully used to grab a large number of Tachyons to pull it to FTL speeds in the case that the ship needs to escape from overwhelming odds. But since, like the Solar Sail, the Tachyon Sail is not designed to keep at FTL speeds for a time longer than 30 minutes, any longer and the device will be ripped from the ship’s innards. The ship’s standard FTL drive is an FTL only capable version of the sublight drive, the Tachyon Sail used by the FTL Drive is designed to better suit grabbing a large number of tachyons and hold them but with that said it still suffers from the dangerous effects of the Sublight Drive at FTL speeds meaning it can only use it’s FTL drives for a certain length of time. The Tachyon Cruiser can maintain tachyon speed for a around a month and since it only requires half an hour to go from critical to green the drawback is negligible. The effect of a FTL tachyon drive is unique, if you were to use a powerful telescope you could probably see yourself just starting to jump. This is why the tachyon weapons can actually strike a target before they actually fire the round.

Crew Requirements.

The Cruiser can run on a minimum of twenty personnel with the aid of the Maintenance Robots but an optimum crew level would be one hundred and fifty. Cinemas, workout rooms and AR suites are also available to the crew.

Sensor Suite.

The Cruiser uses four independent sensor devices which all operate on the same principles. Each sensor device sends out a sphere of certain particles and a sufficiently powerful computer records the course of every single particle. The particles emitted by the sensors are photon, tachyon, quantum and proton particles. Any deviation from the set course will be registered and the information will be passed on to the combat scanner will which use the deviating particles to draw a picture of the ship, object planet and compare it to any copy it has in it’s databanks. With this information it will extrapolate the ship’s stats and allegiance. These types of sensor suites are expensive but incredibly accurate and are also capable of detecting photon cloaking arrays, holographic shields and to a certain extent can detect phase cloaked ships.

The Cruiser also has a small docking bay at the very back of the ship. It is just large enough to fit two Herc Dropships tightly together. TachCon Cruisers are usually accompanied by Carrier or long range fighter wings.

I have both, i prefere the oringal, although the SU for Catacylsm ad a new depth i perefre having no cap on my fleet limits( in the orginal nearly 90% of my frigate and above fleet were stolen, no other than group 3 saw more action, i had 16 salvagers, 16 of all fighters and ten corvettes for the rest with no minelaysers and 4 repair corvetts) My supercapitol fleet consisted of 4 heavy cruisers, all stolen, 13 destroyers, all but one stolen, nine missile destroyers, all but one stolen, four carriers, all stolen, 18 Kadeshi MFBS, 6 Turanic ion frigates and god knows how many assulat frigates. Tough at the start but when i got over a third of the way through the game i was unstopable with far two many cap ships. oops, babbling a bit there.

Heh he.

I just stole every heavy cruiser I found. And a few ships for my collection of strange ships like those Ion frigates that looked like space telescopes (can't remember the name but they are built by the Beast in Cataclysm. Deploying four wings...).

I think Cataclysm had better speech, but I liked the limited range of the fighters and the capital ships of homeworld... and Caraclysm...and Homeworld...and Cata...aaargghh...can't decide.

The Hive frigates in Cataclysm were most useful. Remember the mission where the fighter doors are "stuck" ? Well I didn't have any fighters then...:D. But overall I found it easier than homeworld. The most difficult mission beign actually I think the one you have to stop those missiles. (And of cource when you get quite a sock from the Bentusi until they decide to stop firing on you)

Ahhh.... those games were so awesome...space opera... I want mooore:( ... why they stopped making them? They could make a full series of different episodes, I wouldn't mind.
